Solid cherry, four drawers, turned feet, and dovetail drawers.  This solid piece of furniture is in amazing shape for its age and all drawers function as they should.
 
The deep cherry original finish is still intact.  
 
The character is real- small surface marks, the occasional knot, grain variation across the drawer fronts.  That's what a hundred-year plus years like look, and it is part of what makes it interesting.  This piece moves easily between styles: cottage, farmhouse, maximalist, collected-over-time.
